Sutton/Hall band is playing this Friday night

The band’s name is “Rough Draft.” Pretty clever, huh? It’s fronted (or “backed,” we don’t really know either the band or that hip-cat musician lingo all that well) by two English-teaching UW-Green Bay Humanistic Studies professors, Stefan Hall and Brian Sutton. Hence the name. Hall and Sutton are joined by musical theatre students Molly LeCaptain and Shelbi Cox. Rough Draft will play a gig this Friday (Feb. 19) from 7 until 9 p.m. at Attic Books and Coffee on Bodart Street, near Main in downtown Green Bay. They perform covers of light jazz, pop, and show tunes, plus a few original songs. Admission is free, but our inside-the-band source tells us “we’ll also be selling our most recent CD (assuming we record the last few cuts when we get together to practice).”
