Prof. David Voelker of Humanistic Studies, chair of the academic program in history, recently published a brief article on clicker technology that may be of interest to other faculty and staff members on campus. “Clicking for Clio: Using Technology to Teach Historical Thinking” appears in the December 2009 issue of Perspectives on History: The Newsmagazine of the American Historical Association. Voelker notes that, although the focus in the article is on history, the strategies outlined can be applied to other disciplines and to critical thinking in general. Read article.
