Images of Native Americans on display in Union
The art exhibit “Bittersweet Winds” assembled by Wisconsin native activist Richie Plass is on display 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 24 and 25) in the University Union, at UU 103 on the lower level. Hosted by Intertribal Student Council to help mark Native American Heritage Month, the free exhibit includes negative portrayals as well as historically accurate images of native peoples past and present.
Also sponsored by Intertribal Student Council, The Flying Feather Band plays a free show in the Phoenix Club from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday (Nov. 24).
