Arendt the keynoter as alumni return for leadership conference

Twenty-two UW-Green Bay alumni returned to campus Saturday, Oct. 1, to share their experiences and expertise with 130 current students at the fifth annual Max U Day leadership conference. The alums contributed to the theme “What Is Your Story?: Writing Your Next Chapter at UWGB” by serving on panels, such as “Citizenship & Social Justice” and “Multiculturalism and Leadership,” and by presenting workshops, including “Dealing with Drama” and “Benefits of Service & Community Involvement.” Prof. Lucy Arendt, Cofrin School of Business, presented the keynote, “Carpe Diem: Seize the Day and Claim Your Future.” Sponsors were Residence Life, Student Government Association, and Student Life.
