It’s almost time for the start of school — which means it’s almost time for Backyard Bash! This huge outdoor party will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4 (that’s the first day of classes) at the Mauthe Center on campus. Backyard Bash offers free food, games and music for UW-Green Bay students, faculty and staff. This year’s theme is “Summer of ’68,” so there’s certain to be plenty of nostalgic fun during the event. You can RSVP by posting to the Mauthe Center’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/MautheCenter) and get your questions answered by calling (920-465-5133) or emailing (firstname.lastname@example.org) the center. The party is sponsored by UW Credit Union and the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association.
