If you’re reading this Wednesday morning (Aug. 24) and totally spaced on the date, there’s still time to get over to the University Union for the big Faculty/Staff Convocation opening the school year.

The order of ceremonies: 10 a.m. — Formal Program, Phoenix Room

• Welcome by Prof. Cliff Abbott
• Introduction of new faculty and staff
• Presentation of the Founders Association Awards for Excellence
• Video highlights: the year in review
• Remarks by Thomas K. Harden, chancellor

Lunch follows in the Cloud Commons dining room area.
