Mark your calendars for the UW-Green Bay Day of Service

The Chancellor asks that faculty and staff please save the date for the third annual UW-Green Bay Day of Service, Friday, October 6, 2023. Guided by our six strategic priorities and the idea of an educated person, we are committed to enhancing our community connections and providing service to our local communities.

We ask that you join us on this special day to build meaningful relationships with our students, our communities, and each other by coming together as a university to make a positive impact on our region. Faculty and staff have institution-wide approval to participate for 4 hours on work time during the UW-Green Bay Day of Service on October 6, 2023. Employees must have their service hours agreed-upon between themselves and their supervisor to ensure adequate operational coverage. UW-Green Bay employees are not permitted to utilize work time for political campaign activity or activities which endorse a specific religious theology. There will be no reimbursement for employee travel during Day of Service. As we get closer to September, will be updated to reflect the organized service opportunities associated with UW-Green Bay Day of Service.
