One concert, two nights: Check out Opera and Musical Theatre Workshop

Fans of opera and newcomers alike are welcome to enjoy a pair of Opera and Musical Theatre Workshop concerts at 7:30 p.m. Friday (April 19) and Saturday (April 20) in the Weidner Center’s Jean Weidner Theatre. Directed by Assistant Prof. Courtney Sherman and accompanied by pianist Emily Sculliuffo, 14 students will perform selections from “Assassins” (Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman” and “The Marriage of Figaro” (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Lorenzo de Ponte).
