Story, photos: Riddle’s 'After Thoughts' takes audiences into world of 'Cabaret'

Prof. Laura Riddle offered an exciting prelude to the UW-Green Bay Theatre and Music production of Cabaret Tuesday (April 10), discussing the production’s history and social and political themes during After Thoughts at the Weidner Center. This last After Thoughts program of the 2011-12 academic year offered a fascinating look back at the production’s evolution, including award-winning film and stage versions, as well as thoughts on its relevance today. The show, Theatre’s first on the Weidner mainstage since 2000, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. For a story and photo gallery on Tuesday’s event, click here.
