A Cabaret one-two punch: Video, and Riddle talk

UW-Green Bay Theatre and Music are ramping up their preparations in these final weeks before the opening night of Cabaret April 20, getting ready for Theatre’s first Weidner Center mainstage production in more than a decade. This large-scale effort has included more than 100 individuals, from actors to crewmembers and costumers alike. Our new video takes you behind the scenes of this popular musical, and shows how Theatre and Music are bringing it to life.

For even more insider’s access to Cabaret, don’t forget to check out the show’s director, Prof. Laura Riddle, as she discusses the play’s social and political themes during Tuesday’s (April 10) After Thoughts event. It runs from 5-7 p.m. (her talk, Cabaret: Berlin to Broadway, begins around 5:45) in the Grand Foyer of the Weidner Center. This engaging discussion will whet your appetite for the big show April 20-21.
