Mark your calendars for the 2013 Empty Bowls event, which will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 in the Cloud Commons. Presented by UW-Green Bay’s Art Agency, this year’s Empty Bowls will raise money for Kingdom Come, an Oconto Falls food bank. Attendees pay a $10 donation and choose their own handmade bowl, created by UW-Green Bay students and faculty, which is theirs to keep. The bowls are filled with delicious chili or soup donated by local restaurants (this year’s lineup includes Kavarna, Titletown Brewing, Regatta 220, Kroll’s East and Hagemeister Park). Art Agency will have about 300 bowls made and ready to go. Join them for this terrific event! See the full news release.
