Help celebrate Black History Month at the Black History 101 Mobile Museum

Founded by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, the mobile museum is an award-winning collection of over 10,000 original artifacts of Black memorabilia dating from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era to hip-hop culture. Come view the exhibit and meet Dr. Khalid el-Hakim!

From 1:00-2:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, Dr. el-Hakim and MC ShaRock (the first woman of hiphop culture) will discuss the process of educating the community about Black history through his philosophy of a visitor-centered, inclusionary and accessible museum experience. This event is being held in Phoenix Room B of the University Union and is free to attend!
