The media and public will have the first chance to see new engineering equipment in action at a celebration Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. at the Brown County STEM Innovation Center on the UW-Green Bay campus. Although the building has been open since fall, the state-of-the-art equipment was delivered, installed and tested only recently as faculty have begun to prepare the next generation of engineers. Celebrate Black History Month by learning about Green Bay’s history with the Underground Railroad | Feb. 19 | UW-Green Bay Campus
Note location change! UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center is launching a new series: “Stories from the Archives.” The first program of the series is “Green Bay’s Underground Railroad History.” This program will cover the rich history of local efforts regarding the Underground Railroad. Because of popular demand, the free program has been moved from Archives, to Phoenix C of the University Union, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.
