College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Door County Civility Project partner up for speaker series

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has partnered with the Door County Civility Project and the Door County Auditorium for four talks related to civility:

  • Jan. 12, 2019: “Building Community and Common Ground Through The Arts,” Kelli Strickland, Executive and Artistic Director, Weidner Center for the Performing Arts
  • Jan. 19, 2019: “Living in the Digital Age: Dealing with Anger, Hostility and Violence Online,” Prof. Ryan Martin (Psychology)
  • Jan. 26, 2019: “Civility and the Public Sphere,” Associate Prof. Alison Staudinger (Democracy and Justice Studies)
  • Mar. 2, 2019: “Developing Fairness, Respect, Empathy and Equality in Children,” Assistant Prof. Jason Cowell (Human Development)
