It’s time for the annual Tamala Sale fundraiser organized by the student group Organización Latino Americana. Tamales are a traditional Latin American dish consisting of corn-based dough filled with a variety of ingredients that are wrapped and steamed in a corn husk. Our students’ variety of tamales will consist of chicken with a grain sauce. Inexpensive: You can get a dozen for $14. Order forms and payments are due by Wednesday, Dec. 19. (Pickup and eating – delayed gratification here – won’t be until second semester and Monday, Jan. 28. Stop by the American Intercultural Center, UU 150, to order.
