Call for nominations: Regents’ Academic Staff Excellence Awards

It’s that time of year again when the UW System honors colleagues with awards recognizing outstanding service and achievement. All nominations should be submitted to the Academic Staff Committee no later than Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. All of the nominations will be reviewed by the Academic Staff Committee, with top recommendations to be forwarded on to Associate Provost, Clif Ganyard. Provost Davis will then review the recommendations and a formal submission will be made to UW System. To nominate a colleague, please submit the nominee’s name along with a brief rationale via e-mail to Lynn Niemi at niemil@uwgb.edu.

 Timeline:

• Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018: Nominations must be submitted to the Academic Staff Committee (Lynn Niemi at niemil@uwgb.edu)
• Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019: Discuss at ASC meeting and send recommendations to Associate Provost Ganyard
• Friday, Feb. 1, 2019: Nominations sent to UW System from Provost Davis
• Friday, Jun. 7, 2019: Awards presented
