Last Thursday (Nov. 13) all staff and faculty members received their first message announcing the launch of campus participation in the Brown County United Way employee campaign. “We are proud to participate in this vital local community fundraising effort that is making positive changes right here where we live,” said an email from Rick Warpinski, campaign chair. (The Nov. 13 email also included a personalized on-line giving link to make it easy to contribute.) “Please join the many in Brown County who will give of their time, talent, and treasure to the United Way in support of their efforts to strengthen our local community.” The Log will carry periodic updates over the course of the campaign.
