Academic Staff are invited to join the Academic Staff Professional Development Programming Committee on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from noon to 1 p.m. in University Union Room 103 for “Focusing on Strengths (Not Weaknesses!) to Optimize Results,” presented by Lisa Tetzloff, director of Student Life. All registered participants will receive a free code to take the half-hour StrengthsFinder assessment, a widely used online tool. Organizers request that participants take this assessment prior to Tuesday, Dec. 8 at noon (so Lisa may review the groups results) and bring the list of their indicated Top 5 strengths. At the session, attendees will learn what their strengths mean and how to use them to their and any group’s advantage. Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring your lunch. To register, click. Registration will be limited to the first sixty. Questions may be emailed to Jena Richter.
