Howe invites student researchers to apply for Sager award
Emeriti faculty Drs. Paul and Thea Sager created the Sager Scholarship, a $500 award for a UW-Green Bay undergraduate who has demonstrated excellence in a science research paper. The scholarship memorializes Chancellor Edward Weidner’s commitment to UW-Green Bay and the Cofrin Arboretum. Prof. Bob Howe of Natural and Applied Sciences is reminding members of the campus community that Dec. 14 is the deadline for students to apply for the competitive award. Papers of any length can be submitted to hower@uwgb.edu by undergrad students, based on research in the classroom or laboratory (e.g., an expanded lab report) or as part of an independent, faculty-guided project.
