Love, Lukan are Horizon’s players of the week

In a promising sign for Phoenix basketball 2015-16, Green Bay players have swept the first Horizon League player of the week awards. Carrington Love was the leading scorer in the Phoenix’s 93-89 loss to Stanford, torching the Pac-12 opponent for 32 points and six 3-pointers in the game, which established new career highs. On the women’s side Kaili Lukan posted a very impressive 22 points and 10 rebounds in the Phoenix’s 75-55 Kress Center victory over Marquette. For more on the honors, go to.
