UW-Green Bay Summer Camps instructor Dean Hoegger will be the guest artist at Sturgeon Bay’s Greco Gallery this holiday season, and will be welcomed during a Friday, Nov. 22 artists reception held in conjunction with Greco’s Winter Open House. A ceramics artist who has taught all ages at UW-Green Bay, Hoegger has exhibited throughout the Midwest since 1976, according to a Thursday (Nov. 14) Gannett Wisconsin Media article. His work ranges from wheel-thrown porcelain to hand-built raku sculptures and large wheel-thrown vessels. Hoegger is well known on the local arts fair scene and is a part-time teacher in the Sturgeon Bay School District. Read more.
