Visser wins Horizon League honor

Senior outside hitter Holly Visser was named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week, the first Phoenix volleyball player to be honored by the league this season. It’s the first such award for Visser, who ranks third all-time in career kills, with 1,084. Last week Visser led the league in kills per set (5) and ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.381). Visser and the Phoenix return to action at 7 p.m. Friday against Cleveland State at the Kress Events Center.
