One-woman play 'Unveiled' to focus on women and Islam, post-9/11
Visiting actress/playwright Rohina Malik stars in the one-woman play “Unveiled,” to be performed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Union’s Christie Theatre. Topics will include racism, hate crimes, love, Islam, culture, language and life in her portrayal of five Muslim women in a post-9/11 world, serving tea and uncovering what lies beneath the veil. Free and open to the public.
