Campus orders H1N1 vaccine as precaution

The UW-Green Bay Counseling and Health Center has been approved as an H1N1 vaccination site and vaccine has been ordered. The initial, relatively limited supply of H1N1 vaccine is expected by mid-November and will first be offered to those students, faculty and staff meeting the CDC criteria of high risk individuals, including:
• Pregnant women
• Persons six months to 24 years of age
• Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than six months of age
• Healthcare and emergency personnel
• Persons ages 25 to 64 who have health conditions associated with a higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
