Congratulations are in order for the Phoenix women’s soccer team, which beat UW-Milwaukee for the first time in more than a decade Wednesday (Oct. 8), shutting out the Panthers 2-0 at home. The last time the Phoenix had defeated UW-M was Oct. 17, 2003. The big win improves the team’s record to 8-3-2 overall and 2-1-0 in Horizon League Play. Read more.
