Former Sturgeon Bay native and former visiting professor Dr. Peter Wolter will be speaking Friday (Oct. 9) at 11:40 a.m. at the weekly “Eco-lunch” gathering of science faculty and students in MAC 212. Wolter, a post-doctoral researcher from UW-Madison, will be discussing his recent paper “Estimation of forest structural parameters using 5 and 10 meter SPOT-5 satellite data,” which appeared recently in the international journal Remote Sensing of the Environment. Wolter’s presentation is open to the UW-Green Bay community and general public and is sponsored by the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity and the Natural and Applied Sciences academic unit.
