United Way Campaign prepares for launch

Representatives of Brown County United Way made a presentation on campus Tuesday to encourage support for the fall 2013 campaign. They screened a video with impressive statistics and terrific interviews with people testifying as to how United Way helps homeless schoolchildren, families affected by Alzheimer’s, young mothers in poverty and more. Campus campaign coordinator Rick Warpinski (who deserves our applause for coming back for a fifth consecutive year to head the UW-Green Bay drive) says employees will receive pledge information next week. In the meantime, see that very effective video.
