Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition

The Office of the Provost has notified undergraduate students of the seventh annual Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition, organized by our friends at SAGLA (the System’s Advisory Group on the Liberal Arts). The student competition aims to promote understanding of the purpose and value of a liberal arts and science education. Submission deadline is Jan. 13 to Timothy Sewall at sewallt@uwgb.edu. All essays submitted will be judged by a group of UW-Green Bay faculty, with essays eligible to earn a $500 scholarship for educational expenses at UW-Green Bay in 2012-2013.  Top essays statewide will then be entered into a pool of essays from across the UW System, with three scholarships of $2,000 made at the state level.
