You, too, can speak Spanish… every Thursday… and French, twice

La Tertulia — the Spanish conversation hour — takes place every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Union’s Phoenix Club. Organized by the Spanish program, the informal gathering invites students, staff and faculty from beginning speakers to experienced conversationalist to take part.  “It is open to everyone, regardless of level,” says Prof. Gabriel Saxton-Ruiz. The French program sponsors two weekly tables with participation by French native speakers along with those learning the language. The location is the Common Grounds Coffeehouse, at 2 p.m. each Tuesday and again at 4 p.m. each Wednesday.
