Every Friday is Phoenix Friday

Friday is always a reason to celebrate at UW-Green Bay. This Friday (Sept. 25), among other surprises throughout the day, check out the Phoenix Bookstore’s JanSport collection of items and save 20 percent on apparel, backpacks, and other items sporting the Appleton-based company’s mark. (Including the hot new “Digital Burrito Pouch.”) Meanwhile, Aviand’s, as always, honors a 10 percent discount at select dining locations for those wearing Phoenix apparel. Playing at CheapSeats this Friday is the comedy “Ted 2.” Hip hop artist Mac Irv talks about real life experiences, chasing dreams and living life at 7 p.m. at the Phoenix Club. On Saturday, it’s the women’s soccer team vs. Oakland at 6 p.m., with softball hosting Madison Area Technical College at 2 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. game against UW-Oshkosh. Go Phoenix. Go Green Bay!
