Learn from someone whose gender does not conform to the traditional binary. Join Alison Staudinger, UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. of Democracy and Justice Studies and Stacie Christian, Director of Inclusive Excellence and the Pride Center at the Community Panel on Gender, Identity, and the Law at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Reader’s Loft, Green Bay. This will be an informal, open discussion with UWGB faculty and students about the legal structures in Wisconsin and the U.S. that affect the lives of the LGBTQ people. This is part of the “Please Check a Box” series of events organized around UW-Green Bay’s Lawton Gallery art exhibition (Sept. 7 through Oct. 5). More information will be available on the Facebook page of Positive Voice (Northeast Wisconsin’s largest LGBTQ support and outreach organization).
