The American Intercultural Center is very happy to announce that Stacie Christian has agreed to be the project coordinator in the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning) Resource Center. A longtime ad hoc instructor in the Human Development unit, Christian will work approximately 10 hours per week in the LGBTQ Resource Center, providing overall direction, training and support to LGBTQ students and services to the campus community. There are currently three student interns who will be assisting in the Center’s development this year. Early plans for services are to revamp and update the Safe Ally Training, develop a speakers bureau, and plan a series of Brown Bag lunch series with key topics facing the LGBTQ community. If you have any questions or suggestions for the Center you may contact Stacie Christian at (920) 465-2167. The Center is located in the University Union 153. The AIC invites you to stop by, take a tour and meet the wonderful team of interns.
