Labor Day and ‘Drive Sober’ drive

UW-Green Bay Police joined hundreds of law enforcement throughout Wisconsin in the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign centered around Labor Day weekend. The focus is on arresting drivers operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs before they kill or injure themselves or an innocent victim. Campus police urge drivers to choose a sober designated driver before drinking, use GB Metro Bus service or a taxi if you plan on drinking, or call a sober friend for a ride before driving impaired. Campus community members are encouraged to report impaired drivers to law enforcement by calling 911 to prevent injuries or deaths.
