Faculty and staff are invited to attend the first-ever Freshman Convocation. It will be held at the Weidner Center on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. This will be the official welcome to the University for our class of 2022. The one-hour welcome will feature words of encouragement and thoughts on success from Chancellor Miller, Provost Davis, Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmidt and others. The inaugural Freshman Convocation was designed by a core group of faculty, students and staff. Please enter the Weidner Center through the rear doors as there is construction in the front. Also, please arrive by 8:50 a.m. so that staff and faculty can enter together in support of our students. There will be reserved seating for faculty and staff, and the new students will sit in the front.
