Horizon League schedule released for Phoenix women’s basketball

It’s not quite time to start thinking winter, but the Phoenix women are thinking hoops with the release last week of their Horizon League schedule. The team will kick off conference play against Detroit, the only conference team it lost to last season, in a home game Jan. 8. The Phoenix women cracked the national Top 10 during 2011-12, and earned the top spot for academics nationwide. We can’t wait to see what they’ll do this year. Full story.
