Worth a look, ASAP: UW System ‘reassignment’ grants

UW System is providing limited funds for FY 10/11 Reassignment Time Grants to support faculty in writing extramural grant applications for extramural funding opportunities of $50,000 or more.  This opportunity is made available from the UW System in partnership with individual campuses and WiSys.

Reassignment Time Grants can be used to defray the cost of reassignment from teaching a course or for summer salary support, as long the grant recipient devotes the time for grant development. However, UW System and WiSys funding cannot be used for supplies.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Grants will be limited to a maximum of $3,500 per applicant, broken down as follows: UW System will contribute $2,500; WiSys, $500; Campus, $500. (Dean and Provost approval is required for all associated fringe benefit costs that may apply.)
