New browser extension connects you to full text articles through UW-Green Bay Libraries

The UW-Green Bay Libraries are excited to offer you free access to the LibKey Nomad browser extension. Bypass publisher paywalls with instant access to article PDFs. The extension will soon be installed in Edge and Chrome on all campus computers.

LibKey Nomad works on websites that have information about scholarly articles, like Wikipedia, PubMed, and hundreds of publisher websites. It checks for full text availability through library resources and presents you with the fastest link to download the PDF, view the article, or request it via interlibrary loan if it is not immediately available. For instructions on installing LibKey Nomad on your personal computer and other information about the extension, please see the LibKey Nomad guide.

LibKey Nomad is part of a new suite of tools designed to make it easier for users to access library resources. Look for “Download PDF” links in Search@UW to get to quickly get to the full text. If you have any questions about LibKey Nomad or accessing library materials, just Ask a Librarian!
