Artstreet looking for volunteers

There are so many opportunities locally and so many of you who already volunteer on campus and elsewhere… that we normally don’t publicize outside calls for help. We’ll make an exception here because Artstreet is such a vital community event, and it’s also true that the late Prof. Dean O’Brien of the UW-Green Bay Communication faculty was widely acknowledged to be the founder of the annual event, in 1982. So, here goes: Artstreet is looking for help staffing four-hour shifts for the downtown event Friday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Aug. 24. You can staff refreshment stands, the info booth or the children’s area, or be an artist relief person (think Kramer at the Tony Awards). www.mosaicartsinc.org/artstreet
