If you’re willing to brave the heat, head to the Student Services Plaza at noon Wednesday (July 17) for some fresh garden produce. Share the shade of the SLO Food Alliance awning by the pergola and sample the selection of produce this week that includes beets, onions, green and purple beans, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, Swiss chard, fresh basil, and lots of fresh herbs (parsley, tarragon, chives, cilantro, etc.). Beans for sale by the pound, beets and onions by the bunch, and pick your own basil, herbs and greens. The produce stand sells out every week, so get there early for a good selection!
