Tetschlag earns Horizon League’s top student-athlete honor

UW-Green Bay basketball standout and May 2011 graduate Kayla Tetschlag has been awarded the Horizon League’s highest individual honor, the Cecil N. Coleman award. Presented annually to the league’s top female and male student-athletes, the accolade honors those who have demonstrated excellence in athletics, academics and extracurricular activities. Butler’s Matt Howard took home the men’s award.

Tetschlag is a spring magna cum laude graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She helped lead the Phoenix women to their first-ever Sweet 16 berth in this year’s NCAA tournament, capping a 34-2 season. Tetschlag was the student commencement speaker in May.
