The state Department of Public Instruction has granted first-time full approval for an educator re-licensure program offered only by UW-Green Bay’s Professional Program in Education. The Accomplished Educator Professional Development Certificate Program currently partners with eight area school districts to provide a rigorous, professional-development focused alternative to traditional educator re-licensure. Previously recognized by the DPI’s licensing division, the program’s full approval means it could expand beyond Northeastern Wisconsin. Read more.
