Professional Development Opportunity – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop with Rev. Lex Cade-White
Today, Monday, June 21 from 3 to 4:30 pm. and Tuesday, June 22 from 10:30 a.m. to Noon are professional development opportunities—a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop with Rev. Lex Cade-White. Both sessions cover the same content:

The Academic Staff and University Staff joint Professional Development Programming Committee invite you to join us for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop led by Rev. Lex Cade-White. All Academic and University Staff are encouraged to attend. Faculty are welcome as well. Funding for the event is covered by the committee. There is no fee for these trainings.
In the session we will be reviewing diversity, equity and inclusion in general and through racial lens of how socialization happens. We will also explore the impact of biases and aggressions. Lastly we will discuss how to interrupt oppression and privilege in power. The time will conclude with breakout sessions for small group discussion and large group discussion. About the Speaker Reverend Lex Cade-White received her master’s in divinity at Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in race relations and urban ministry, and is an ordained United Church of Christ minister.
The sessions will not be recorded and shared so sign up for a time you will be available to attend live.
