UW-Green Bay joins a dozen universities in an international pitch competition

UW-Green Bay has officially joined nearly a dozen universities from around the world as part of the 2020 International Video Pitch Competition (IVP). UW-Green Bay students will join those from such universities as Ohio University, the University of Pecs, Howard University, Swansea University, the College of Wooster, the University of Osijek, the University of Leeds, the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Riga Technical University, the University of Novi Sad, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula and the University of Rijeka.

UW-Green Bay student entrepreneurs will submit their business model videos to the competition’s website in early 2020 for feedback and evaluation by local judges. The top five from UW-Green Bay will then be recognized in an online event, and those top five will share in a significant cash prize package. The top two UW-Green Bay entries will then move on the IVP for feedback and evaluation from a group of international judges.

The University of Pécs and Ohio University launched the IVP in 2013 to allow students to receive valuable feedback on their entrepreneurial initiatives from an internationally diverse group of experts. More about the competition can be found, here.

This business model video pitch competition is open to all matriculating UWGB students from all majors on all campuses. For more information on student eligibility and the timeline for this new competition, please contact UW-Green Bay entrepreneurship lecturer Ryan Kauth at KauthR@uwgb.edu.
