Clampitt to offer faculty/staff workshop on leadership

Author, business consultant and UW-Green Bay Prof. Phillip Clampitt will share his expertise with faculty and staff at a professional development workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, in Phoenix Room A/B. The title of the presentation is “Becoming a Progress-Making Leader in Your Sphere of Influence.” Clampitt was co-author last year, with Fox Valley business executive Robert DeKoch, of the book Transforming Leaders into Progress Makers: Leadership for the 21st Century. The book highlights original research as well as case studies of successful leaders. The Clampitt workshop is organized by the Office of Human Resources. Although there is no registration charge, you are asked to e-mail HR@uwgb.edu at least five days in advance of the event to guarantee sufficient materials are available.
