Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop with Rev. Lex Cade-White is June 21-22

The Academic Staff and University Staff joint Professional Development Programming Committee invite you to join in a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop, June 21 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and June 22 from 10:30 a.m. to Noon. The workshop is being led by Rev. Lex Cade-White.

All Academic and University Staff are encouraged to attend. Faculty are welcome as well. Funding for the event is covered by the committee. There is no fee for these trainings. In the session we will be reviewing diversity, equity and inclusion in general and through racial lens of how socialization happens. We will also explore the impact of biases and aggressions. Lastly we will discuss how to interrupt oppression and privilege in power. The time will conclude with breakout sessions for small group discussion and large group discussion.

How to Register

Register for Monday, June 21 session.

The sessions will not be recorded and shared so sign up for a time you will be available to attend live.
