Friday is final furlough day

Here’s a reminder that Friday, May 28, will be the final of four campuswide furlough days set by the University to address state-ordered budget cuts. All employees, except critical staff, will be off work without pay. And if you’re looking for some good news, the weather forecast calls for sunny skies and mid-‘70s for daytime temperatures.

And if you’re thinking ahead…
The state-mandated furlough days for the 2010-11 fiscal year will be: Nov. 26, Dec. 27, Jan. 14, 2011 and May 27, 2011.
