We neglected to mention that there will indeed be a cake-and-punch gathering on campus to offer best wishes to the retiring Lt. Keith Rosin of Public Safety. It will be next Wednesday (May 19) in Phoenix Room C of the University Union, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. That’s the main event. The Mackinaw’s social gathering we announced in an earlier LOG e-news is basically for people who can’t make it to the afternoon gathering in the Phoenix Room. (Or, we suspect, for those with outstanding paper who prefer a change of venue in order to avoid the heat in this jurisdiction. Memo to self: pay that campus ticket.)
