GMOs, Hybrids and Heirlooms,” a UW-Green Bay Wellness Lunch and Learn event, from 12:10-1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 in Phoenix Room C of the Union. Medland will present info on the differences between heirloom, hybrid and GMO vegetables and fruits, and highlight the advantages of planning heirlooms. She also will highlight some of the plants available at this year’s Heirloom Plant Sale (faculty and staff early bird sale will be held from noon-4:30 p.m. Friday, May 17. Full sale will be Saturday, May 18. Look for details in an upcoming Log).
