Members of the campus community are invited to attend the Strategic Philanthropy Awards Reception at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in the Union’s Christie Theatre. Prof. Lora Warner’s Strategic Philanthropy class awards its $10,000 grant (funded by private donors) to a deserving Brown County area non-profit, to be announced that night. The students base their award on a semester of research, due diligence and attention to the mechanics and philosophy of philanthropy and grant-making.
