Linda Parins from the musical side of campus says they’re still accepting volunteers as the countdown continues to the big Wisconsin School Music Association solo and ensemble festival this Saturday (May 1). UW-Green Bay will be hosting 2,800 young musicians and probably about 1,500 friends and family members. Parins says the busiest times for visitors and questions is typically 9:30 a.m. until noon. A person could volunteer just to walk around the halls and ask visitors if they need help finding a site or a building. Hours of the event are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you’d like to help, contact Linda at ParinsL@uwgb.edu.
